Emeralds suffered a 6-2 loss this morning against Bolton County Storm.
The toughest test of the season for the girls, but they stood up to it well, matching Bolton for a good 70% of the game.
Another great battling performance, but unfortunately one the girls couldn't quite keep going to the end, with Bolton scoring 4 goals late on in the game.
Emelia was great in goal in the first half, with Macy stepping in, making some great saves in the second half. Our goal scorers today were Alexis and Lillia, with fantastic efforts.
POTM went to Anabel though, who played central defence for the first time, and really stepped up to the challenge.
A tough game, a tough result, but overall really pleased with their performance.
