U11s Emeralds vs Mcr Football Dreams (A) - 12th Mar 2023

A 0-0 draw for the Emeralds, away against Manchester Football Dreams, this morning.

A really close game with not many clear chances throughout. Emeralds started the brighter, pressing and attacking well and on top for the first 20 minutes or so. Manchester Dreams came back into the game and started to play more as the game went on though.

The second half saw Manchester probably play the better football, as Emeralds were not quite strong enough and lost their shape a little. Towards the end, Manchester won a penalty which wasn't converted.

The girls kept going though and saw the game out to earn a draw.

POTM was Alexis. She was great in goal. Getting out early to the ball and producing some great saves when called upon.
