U11s Emeralds vs Ramsbottom Utd White Rapids (A) - 19th Feb 2023

A great 3-1 win for the Emeralds this morning away against Ramsbottom United White Rapids.

We only had 9 players available today, with no subs, so the girls had to put in a really hardworking shift all game, and they truly did!

We went 3-0 up in the first half with some fantastic football. Darcie scoring one and Alexis scoring two which put us in a really strong position for the second half. Some great saves from Emelia in our goal helping us stay in front as well.

The girls were tired, but kept battling, being really strong and physical in the second half.  Ramsbottom sneaked a goal in off the post, but otherwise we kept them at bay and still continued to create chances ourselves. Their keeper producing a great stop with Jess one on one with her.

All in all, a fantastic performance from everyone today. POTM though went to Darcie for her great hold up play, bringing others into the attack with her, and getting on the score sheet herself.  Well played girls 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
