U11s Emeralds vs Ramsbottom United White Rapids (A)

A 1-1 draw for the Emeralds this morning, away against Ramsbottom United White Rapids.

A great game and a real battling performance from the girls with a draw being a fair result.

Playing up front, and out of goal for the first time, Macy grabbed a goal late in the first half. Ramsbottom pulled a goal back in the second half with both teams creating chances through the rest of the game, but without getting the killer goal.

POTM went to Anabel for a great all round performance in defence and midfield. Special mention though to Emelia for pulling off some great saves in goal, and to Macy for stepping into playing a strikers role fantastically.

A great game against one of the strongest teams in our league.
