U10s Eagles vs Sapere Aude

Champions league QTR final vs Sapere Aude.

 

They beat us at the start of the year (7-2), totally outplayed us at a level we’d not come up against before.

 

Today had to be about shape, grit and digging in. Doing individual jobs well, not allowing them to play and using the ball when we had it.

 

Oh boy did they listen!! Everyone one of them, unbelievable. They all won there battles, followed our instructions perfectly and when we got chance we were clinical ⚽️👊. 

 

Two goals from Azan who latched onto great through balls, drove past their defenders and we found ourselves 2-0 up at half time……we knew they’d come out fast second half.

 

We held our shape and let them have the ball at the back, then pressed together to stop them getting in behind us.

 

They managed to pull one back and had a good spell which was expected.

 

Impressively we didn’t panic and then pounced again. Another great team goal and brilliant finish from Zak.

 

Game finished 3-2 to us. Couldn’t possibly single any one out today.
