U10s Sharks v Elton & Walshaw Pumas (A) - 18th Mar 2023

U10s Sharks MOM today was the whole team in an entertaining 1-1 draw with Elton & Walshaw Pumas.

 

The game was played on a short pitch that cut up easily and the game got srappy, both teams was creating chances in the first half and sharks was slightly on top.

 

The team went in at half time 0-0. The second half started the same and both keepers was making some good saves but it was Sharks who took the lead, a well worked free kick switching play from one full back (Olly) tho the other full back Louis who was in space, Louis took one touch and fired it home.

 

Sharks was under a bit pressure with Elton hitting the bar and forcing M.Ali I to saves but it was a Sharks error trying to pass the ball across goal and it fell to the striker who finished it 1-1 shark had chance to win the game but it ended 1-1 and went to penalties which we won 4-3 in our first ever penalty shootout  2 penalty saves from M.Ali
