U9s Eagles vs Radcliffe Town AFC Reds (A)- 25th Mar 2023

Eagles u9 drew against Radcliffe Town AFC U9 Red 1-1, every player deserves credit as we had no substitutes so everyone had to work hard.

 

Whilst Radcliffe had more chances and if it wasn’t for Charlie in goals it might’ve been more (including a penalty save at the end of the 1st half),

 

I think it’s fair to say that Eagles tried to play the better football which was never going to be easy with the rain over the past day or so, although the pitch did hold up well.

 

Man of the match (Chizaram) was picked by Ben who again had another cracking game as a referee, it’s never easy to referee when your brother / family are playing but Ben was spot on with his decision making, including the penalty against Eagles.

 

Chizaram got man of the match not just for his finish to equalise which was impressive but his overall workrate to win the ball back and get stuck in. I’m really proud of the 7 players who played today and kept on going to end. 👏
