U9s Lions vs Prestwich Predators - 2nd Apr 2023

Under 9 🦁 Lions v Prestwich Predators.    With spring in the air our Lions seem to have lost the spring in their step 🤦.

We never really got going today against a team we lost to earlier in the season and I can’t really put my finger on it. Nothing really came  off for us . We never got our passing game going and made poor decisions when in possession . Saying that we were solid in defence and were rarely threatened.

Both teams pretty much cancelled each other out .

We took the lead through superb long range strike from Sonny after a neat pass from Xavier on his debut . 👌

I honestly can’t remember any other chances either team had until late in the final period as we pressed for a second Prestwich broke away and scored with a tidy finish . A draw a fair result .
