U10s Sharks v Bridge Hawks (H) - 18th Feb 2023
Good performance & a clean sheet
Match Report
U10s Sharks back in league action today at home to Bridge Hawks.
The game was a close encounter with Sharks just edging it in windy conditions.
MoM went to our goalkeeper M.Ali for his his clean sheet, making some good saves and always quick off his line to sweep up.
Sharks were trying to play the passing game and produced some nice football at times. We got in some good positions but the final ball was always our issue today.
Mason scored our first goal with a long range effort in the first half that made the keeper work and the ball ended up in the back of the net off the keeper.
Our second goal before half time came from a gree kick, Leo let fly with strike that hit the underside of the bar and flew in, keeper had no chance.
The second half was a little tricky with wind blowing in Bridges favour but Sharks managed it really well, pressing high and keeping the ball on the floor. Bridge had their chances in the second half but like us the final ball let them down and we saw the game out as 2-0 winners.
