U10s Sharks v Radcliffe Borough Tigers  - 3rd December 2022

Defenders win games. Attackers decide by how many goals!

Match Report

U10s Sharks MOM today goes to George in a 1-0 win away to Radcliffe Borough Tigers.

What a difference a week can make, we made some changes in the team this week and the lads responded well.

Today was an entertaining game for both sides, Sharks pressed and pressed for that first goal but couldn't hit the target, they also found the Radcliffe keeper in good form who made some great saves.

We should have been a few ahead by half time but we went in at 0-0 at half time.

The second half Radcliffe pressed us and caused us some issues creating their own chances that our keeper and defence dealt with well, after a few missed attempts and plenty of gut bursting driving runs a long distance strike from Reegan finally beat the keeper.

The lads managed out the rest of the game really well, Radcliffe came at us pushing for the equaliser but the lads stood strong and the 1 goal was enough to win the game.

Strikers will always take the limelight when they score a winning goal but after conceding 8 last week our defence and goalkeeper deserved all the credit today
