U11s Lions  vs Kersal (H) - 12th Nov 2022

Tight game this morning against Kersal FC. We played very well and started good but unfortunately let in two goals in quick succession.

Riley then scored one to take the game to 2-1, followed by a second goal from Luke to take the game to 2-2 at half time.

The team started brilliantly in the second half by really pushing the pace and action which resulted in a third goal by Luke taking the game 3-2. Kersal equalised to make it 3-3 and then pushed on to score another more goals as we couldn't just quite keep up.

MOM went to Miracle who worked his socks off today along with Charlie who made some great saves when needed.

Despite the final result the team played really well, worked hard and tried their best despite having no subs through the game.

A big "thank you" to our young coach Mason, who has been simply amazing taking this team under his wing at such a young age. We understand he's going to study further education in coaching & no doubt he has a big future 🙏 which we will help & support with in any way we can. Well done Mason!!!!
