Milnrow Lions vs Radcliffe

As the game kicked off we started very well moving the ball around and dominating the game. Not long into the game we got our first goal which was set up by Lorenzo and finished off by Riley D. We then started to be on the back foot as Radcliffe started to make lots of changes. As Kelsey got subbed on and the defence was looking more solid. Radcliffe then won a free kick on the edge of the box causing a shot on goal. This was then saved and then cleared by the GK Charlie. The ball then got played back into the box by one of the Radcliffe players and then finished off making the game 1-1. For the rest of the first half it was end to end with both teams making lots of chances. The first half ended 1-1.

The second half then kicked off and straight away Milnrow were dominating game. And after lots of chancing Noah got the ball in the box and finished it into the bottom left corner.

After this, Milnrow kept putting on the pressure keeping possession and playing good football. The right back Rhys picked up the ball on the edge of the box taking the ball past a few players and then sliding into the ball and putting it into the back of the net.

We then defended really well by keep winning the ball back with excellent tackles from the whole team. We then had a counter attack where Noah got the ball and then played the ball to Lorenzo on his right. Lorenzo took one touch and then slid, beating the keeper to the ball and putting the ball in the net.

We then fought till the end of the game to keep the same result.

MOTM was given to Lorenzo for his goal and assist.

Winning this gives Milnrow their second win in a row and there first win in the league this season.
