U9s Lions vs AM19 MW Tiling- 27th Nov 2022

Playing against a good established side, our U9s Lions tasted defeat for the first time today.

 

We struggled with getting hit on the break & when we did enjoy some good attacks they inevitably were thwarted by AM19's keeper who would pull off a great save .

 

Some of the lads got a bit frustrated but a good learning experience for them to keep going .

 

We also let them play out of position at times to mix it up . Adam making his debut and stepped in goal for the last 15 mins . Amelia and Leighton playing only their second full game showed signs of improvement .  Henry got stuck in and is slotting in well . Consistent Solid performances from the regulars Adil Reo Sonny And Jenson. We did enjoy some good play at times . Reo Sonny and Adil all coming close until eventually Sonny and Adil scored .  Mason got lots of practice in goal that he doesn’t get on Saturdays and made a few excellent saves and his distribution much improved .
