U9s Lions vs Chadderton - 12th Feb 2023

Great competitive game this morning with two evenly matched teams .

 

The Lions 🦁 were quick out of the blocks and restricted Chadderton to very little , keeping a high press with the bulk of the play for the first two periods being in the oppositions half .

 

We played some good stuff at times winning the ball back and playing back out sensibly .

 

We just couldn’t make all the pressure count and whilst we got to two goals up through Arnie and Reo , it could have been so many more , mainly due to their goalkeeper keeping them in the game , it was always gonna be in the balance .

 

The last 15 mins the boys were trying to kill them off rather than see the game out and then they hit us 2 times on the break to finish 2-2 . 

 

MOM Henry who seems to play well anywhere he plays although we nearly awarded it to their Goalkeeper 👍👍
