U9s Lions vs Rochdalians - 5th Mar 2023

Milnrow’s Lions U9s v Rochdalians .

Great game against the best team we have faced to date . We were still asleep due to a v early kick off and were quickly 2-0 down through some skilful quick play from Rochdalians who were very impressive at times . We showed some real character and heart to get it back to 2-2 in the second period  with some neat touches and good finishes from Adil . But then two lazy mistakes in the final period and Rochdalians quickly capitalised and it finished 4-2 .

We did have a few chances late on to claw something out of the game but it wasn’t to be.

Work hard and come back stronger . No shame in losing to a good team like that .
