U9s Lions vs Shawclough - 8th Jan 2023

Really pleased with a great team performance this morning , a great way to start the year with a win against Shawclough.  

 

It was nil nil for quite some time, but the team really stuck at it to the end and it paid off . Everybody contributing in one way or another even.  

 

Hopefully all ( apart from Henry ) training together every Wednesday will help gel the team along with more game time together . I’m really excited about this team .

MOM  It was a real tough one to be honest .  But we’ve given it to Sonny (Pictured yesterday with Rochdale's MOM Danny Lloyd )

who was everywhere today and showed some great strength / leadership , character and will to win , which we'd talked about and we wanted from him. He proper stepped it up.  💪 🥇   In fact he could hardly walk getting out of the car and was physically sick as soon as he got in the house 🤷
