Milnrow Sharks 🦈 U9’s lost away to Cheetham Hill Whites.

0-0 after 15 minutes and we were in the game, we had good shape and energy and missed two good chances to take the lead. A couple of substitutions affected the balance and we conceded 4 very quick goals (2 goal keeping mistakes and 2 well worked goals) going in 4-0 down in a game that was actually very even.

We re-grouped and changed things around in the second half, the game was again very even before we conceded an own goal after a great point blank save bounced off the defender running back to clear the ball.

Hamza Hussain then pulled one back with a great first time shot from outside the area, before we conceded another late on in the game.

Overall, a good team performance today, we played well for long periods, the heads didn’t drop and the effort was great. Hamza Hussain taking Player of the Match for his great goal.
