U9s Sharks vs Elton & Walshaw Cougars  (H) - 4th Feb 2023

Milnrow Sharks 🦈 U9’s lost 4-1 in the cup to Elton and Walshaw Cougars.

However, we produced another good team performance today, the effort and work rate was really impressive and we created chances but lacked the composure when needed and failed to convert them into goals.

Yet again, we matched the opposition for long periods of the game and with slightly better concentration/positional awareness the scoreline could have been a lot different.

Great to see small positive steps in the right direction…..

Player of the Match was Jake Whittaker with a strong midfield display, Edward Roberts scoring the goal.
