U9s Sharks vs Manchester North End  (H) - 18th Feb 2023

Milnrow Sharks 🦈 U9’s lost 2-0 at home to Manchester North End Boys.

Playing against the wind in the first half we kept our shape and defended really well. Going in at half time 0-0 we gave ourselves a real chance to push on for our first win of the season.

However, two lapses in concentration cost us. The first was the defence pushing up too high and allowing the ball over the top which was finished well. A basic lack of listening and poor positioning from a corner allowing a simple tap in at the front post for the second.

The effort was great and we are improving every week. Player of the Match went to Tyler Clough
