U9s Sharks vs Radcliffe Bulldogs (H) - 19th Nov 2022

Milnrow U9 Sharks 🦈 narrowly missed out at home to Radcliffe Bulldogs.

We gave ourselves an uphill struggle going 2-0 down in the first five minutes, sat far too deep and struggled to get the ball out of our half of the pitch. A good goal keeping display from Finley Eglen who took over in goal and some determined defending keeping us in the game.

We changed things at half time and grew into the game with a much improved performance in the second half.

We created some good chances, spent longer in the oppositions final third and a well taken goal by Tyler Clough kept us competitive in the game.

We had a few more breakaways and just lacked the vision and calmness to find the final pass when needed.

An energetic P.O.T.M. performance from George Mills on his debut helping the team push up the pitch.
