U9s Sharks vs Kersal FC (H) - 1st Oct 2022

Another improved performance today saw Milnrow U9 Sharks 🦈 narrowly lose at home to Kersal FC U9’s.

Some strong goal keeping and two fantastic saves from P.O.T.M Finley Eglen saw the Sharks go in 1-0 down at half-time.

Jake Whittaker and Edward Roberts working really hard for the team in the second half, which Kersal FC edged with two well taken goals putting them 3-0 up.

However the Sharks continued to show a strong work ethic, and got their rewards with Hamza Hussain pulling a goal back from the penalty spot.

A refereeing decision which highlights the need for V.A.R in under 9’s football 🤣
