Good effort in a loss for the Eagles today..the game was actually a lot closer than the scoreline suggests, but we just need to try to stick in our positions and not follow the ball and allow players to get in behind us and giving away easy goals that we really shouldn't be conceding.
This is something we are constantly teaching through training sessions & this is why training sessions are necessary - We can't & won't keep turning children away in favour of some that can't/don't make training sessions - That wouldn't be fair to others 🤷🏼♂️
We also need to appreciate that coaches are there to coach - & need some parental support, whether it's help with setting up, putting away, or taking the ref's whistle (it's pretty much as simple as calling in's & out's) that we are required to do for home games 🙏
This team have been moved up a level becuase of how well they were doing. Now, we need a better support network to keep up with the teams we are & will continue to play against 🙏
